Where is it?
Located in the Hill Neighborhood along the New Haven Line train tracks, 16-18 Rosette Street are actually two 'plots' side-by-side, which border a city-owned triangular plot (14 Rosette) that extends to the Rosette-Cedar corner. Together, all three parcels make up a quarter-acre of land.
What does it look like?
Currently, 16-18 Rosette St are surrounded by a chain-link fence, separating them from the city-owned corner parcel (which wasn't large enough alone for a significant new project). Soon, we can take down the fence or extend it to surround all three and install a gate (in the case of a dog park or community garden). Along the back of all three parcels runs a safety wall, with train tracks behind.
